DNA Data is desperately needed to help gather and prove that IVDD is starting to show up in the Boykin Spaniel breed.
Though at this time the DNA test does not prove that your dog will have a disc injury it will show if your dog is predispositioned to developing IVDD and complications from this disease.
We ask that you Include the CDDY/IVDD as part of your DNA testing

What to do with results
If you tested with UCDAVIS you can release your results directly from them to OFA for $7.50
IF your dog is BSS/AKC or UKC registered, We ask you to ALSO go to the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals website and submit your results (we recommend to also include your dog’s pedigree if you have it from BSS or AKC).
